In 2002, Dr. Bill Buck a World War I veteran from Birmingham, Alabama, heard Sergeant Struecker speak. Moved by his story, Dr. Buck developed the Bullet Proof Faith booklet. Half a million booklets have been distributed worldwide and thousands of soldiers have responded with personal letters.
